Doña Flor becomes a widow after the death of her wild, irresponsible husband. He died after another night of woman hunting. Wanting to marry more wisely the second time around, Doña Flor marries a stable but dull pharmacist who has no interest in sex. When she discovers that a life without sex isn't everything, she is visited by the ghost of her late husband.
