9-year-old Anne is an energetic girl who has much more important things on her mind than falling in love. But then she meets Jørgen, a boy who is new to the class. Anne falls in love with him almost immediately. Jørgen comes to live in the creepy mysterious 'Bandit House', a house that no child dares come near. Anne doesn't mind this though and decides to do everything she can to win Jørgen over.
