Fred Daly wakes up every day with a view of the sea. He lives quietly but lonely, as a mobile homeless person in his car. Suddenly, a canary-yellow cart appears next to him in the parking lot. It is the home of Cathal, an optimistic 21-year-old drug addict. Fred is initially annoyed by the intruder, but soon the positive attitude of his young neighbor spills over to him. He arranges some things to make his car a bit more homely and, despite his shame for his small housing, he is even tempted to meet music teacher Juliana. As Fred sees more and more of the sun shine, Cathal's problems begin to spiral out of control.

Nice film about two men who each live in their own car and meet each other in a parking lot. The friendship between these two men (a young junkie and a somewhat older man) is central to this small film. There is no real story. Here and there a bit monotonous, but a pleasantly calm tempo.

The financial crisis forces Fred [Colm Meaney] to live in his car on his return to Dublin while he waits for social housing. He befriends 21-year-old Cathal [Colin Morgan] who accompanies him to the swimming pool and encourages him to make contact with Finnish music teacher Jules [Milka Ahlroth], but struggles with heroin addiction and debts to the local underworld. John Conroy's camerawork captures the emotional states of the leading characters in this well-written drama that is an excellent vehicle for Meaney, who is given fine counterpoint by Morgan.
