Behind the Red Motel Door plot

A neat family is on their way to Disneyland via the infamous Route 66. They decide to spend a night at a budget motel and hide the kids to cut costs. Despite their bourgeois nature, the well-behaved head of the family and his wife, dressed in a Mickey Mouse sweater, stand out in this environment. Most customers here pay per hour. Behind the red doors of the motel a variety of colorful characters gather, who earn their money in a shadowy way. Drugs, sex and violence rule here and an illegal dentist practices it as a matter of course.
