And in that silence hide the feelings and thoughts of the choir members. In the year that the Urker Mannenkoor celebrates their 100th anniversary, Kees Brouwer follows the choir and the men reveal their thoughts in this film. Personal stories of happiness and unhappiness, of faith and unbelief, of sin and repentance. And the stories are gripping; from a lost fisherman, the temptation of committed sins, happiness in love, to the murder of a boy from Urk.
