Tel Aviv, 1973. Young Izek grows up in a seedy casino full of gangsters behind the family's bar. When violence and crime become more and more of a problem for him and his family, Izek moves with his family to Los Angeles. Hoping to start a new life, he continues his ambition to become an entrepreneur by setting up small businesses, purchasing real estate and running a garage business. Success seems to fall into his lap and after falling in love with the handsome Aline, luck seems to be on his side too. However, it doesn't take long before the crime finds him again. He is threatened by a dangerous mobster, his criminal cousin and even a Colombian drug lord. When those close to him cannot resist the temptation of big money, he is surrounded by violence and has no choice but to confront him.
