Among Horses & Men plot
Some of the large herds of wild horses in the Nevada desert are captured by local ranchers. One of the ranches is part of a state prison: The Northern Nevada Correctional Center. Chris, Dean, Gilbert, Charles, Steven, Bo and Mike are young inmates in the final stages of a long captivity that has been repeated several times during their lifetime. Before their return to society, they participate in this special project, helping to capture, tame and train wild horses. The detainees were followed during the three months that the training lasts. In this intensive contact with the horses, the men are constantly confronted with themselves.
