Second Sight: A Love Story plot

The film traces the life of Alaxandra McKay, a woman who has been blind for 20 years. Concerned that people only like her out of pity, she isolates herself emotionally from everyone except her guide dog Emma. However, a romance with Richard Chapman slowly but surely makes her come out of her shell. She could get her sight through a delicate new operation, but how will that affect her relationship with Richard and Emma?
