Der Mann, Der über Autos Sprang plot
Julian is a psychiatric patient. He would like to walk from Berlin to southern Germany. By means of the power of walking, he believes he can heal the brain-sick father of his deceased friend. While walking, he encounters the young doctor Ju at the front of her car. He accidentally bumps into her later. She tells him that she feels unhappy and is looking for the meaning of her life. She decides to accompany Julian on his journey to Tuttlingen, where his deceased friend's father lives. At a tourist resort, another frustrated wife and mother join them.
