A coastal village somewhere in the seventies. As a child, Pim, a lonely boy from a marginal background, dreams of princesses and beautiful queens. As a teenager, however, he dreams of Gino, the rough boy next door, his motorcycle hero. But Gino isn't much of a dreamer, is he? In addition, the neighbor's sister falls in love with Pim again.
