Verschleppt - Kein Weg Zurück plot

Sascha is a teacher in her thirties at a high school. Six months ago he met Julia, a freelance translator. Immediately Sascha knew that she was the right woman for him. Julia flies to Turkey for a week for a conference on the Far East. When Sascha goes to the airport to pick her up, he discovers that she has never been on board the plane. Instead, he learns that she died in a diving accident in the Mediterranean a few days earlier. Sascha, shocked, is soon plunged into deep despair. He has no other reason to think that her death was only caused by fate... Until he suddenly sees her on television! In Iraq, an unknown group has managed to take a number of Europeans hostage. Despite the fact that the images are far from perfect, Sascha is absolutely convinced that the woman in the images is his wife Julia! Sascha investigates, but does he know the real Julia?
