Longstay plot

In the Brabant forests near the village of Zeeland, a high fence is fenced with barbed wire. About 40 men live behind the fence. They are psychiatric patients who have committed terrible crimes. They have had a prison sentence and a TBS treatment and have been treated. They are not released because they are considered too dangerous to return to society. Staying in the Longstay is also called hidden lifelong. Who are these men and how do they live with the prospect of probably staying inside the fences for life? For nine months, longstayers and their supervisors were followed within the gates of the Pompestichting's Longstay location Zeeland. In the documentary, TBS inmates tell uncensored about the quality of life within the walls, about love, sex, work and the desire for freedom.
