The Monster's Christmas plot

On Christmas Eve, a little girl is reading from an illustrated book called "The Monster's Christmas" in her bed to her teddy bear when something is sneaking around the trees outside. She hears noise in another room and, thinking it's Santa Claus, she investigates. Instead of Santa Claus, she finds one of the monsters from her book.
