Gang Busters plot
"Radio's Greatest Action-Show Exploding on the Screen!"
Police Lieutenant Bill Bannister has been tasked with rounding up an unknown band of terrorists who are spreading crime across the city. Bannister has the support of Detective Tim Nolan, news photographer Vicki Logan and reporter Happy Haskins. Bannister determines that the gang leader is the mysterious Dr. Clayton Maxton, aka Professor Mortis, and that the gang consists of known criminals who are officially listed in the police records as having died. Bill, who survived a bomb attack on his plane, discovers a subterranean tunnel under the subway.
