Aakrosh plot

"There is no honour in honour killing"

Three Delhi University students go missing in the dusty village of Jhanjhar in the Indian state of Bihar. The government is sending CBI (Office of Criminal Investigation) officers Siddhant Chaturvedi and Pratap Kumar to investigate. Pratap tries to use his charm and intelligence to crack the case while Siddanth takes a no-nonsense, direct approach to the investigation. Criminal investigation in Jhanjhar becomes a very difficult task for these officers because the local police, headed by Bhura Ram, along with some local parliamentarians and landowners, are leading a large branch of the Shool Sena. The investigation soon sparks unrest in Jhanjhar, with demonstrations, burning of houses and the death of farmers in broad daylight.

Crime drama about corruption and caste divisions in India. There is no shortage of violence and unbelievable action scenes. Quite exciting at times.
