"Life Has No Recipe"
Samir is an ambitious sous-chef at a chic French restaurant. He dreams of being promoted to chef at the newly opened SoHo restaurant. To the disappointment of his parents, he is not yet married, has no children and ignores all dating profiles his mother sends him. He begins to realize that his cooking doesn't contain the magic and passion to make it really special. Or is the passion in life itself lacking? Then the family restaurant Tandoori Palace in Jackson Heights beckons. A place of youthful nostalgia, now in decline but offering a glimpse of possibilities.
