The ultra-smart Chhotu lives in India, where many people believe that your birth defines who you are. To help his poor family, Chhotu works in a roadside diner. Many Western tourists come, whom he amazes time and again with his talents. A speech by former president Dr Abdul Kalam, once poor himself, changes his life. From then on, Chhotu calls himself Kalam.
