Even the nice story and the quite reasonable cast could not save this film, it seemed as if the entire film was shot on 100 m2, the film is not really bad, but for me personally just under 5, therefore 2*

And then there's the war week, which apart from a few acceptable films didn't really deliver any hits and that certainly didn't apply to Only the Brave, which can be called downright awful.

Still, the starting point, the basis, is not bad at all and even interesting because it is truly a black page how Asians were treated right after the attack on Pearl and the internment of everyone with a Japanese background. From there, the unity that is central to the film arises, but unfortunately I have named the good with that.

Because the characters are not interesting for a moment, the dialogues, backgrounds as cliché as possible and the flashbacks even disturbing, and following the unit in combat situations is also simply not interesting. Because there is also no interesting background in terms of war situation where it all smells of hardly any skirmishes worth mentioning. In addition, everything is also quite low budget. And yes, that does not even make this Only the Brave a very bad film where they undoubtedly had a good idea and here and there they do their best as far as possible, but it is otherwise a completely uninteresting or not worth mentioning film because the mix just does not seem. Anyway, quickly on to the next film.
