Der Unhold plot
Frenchman Abel Tiffauges loves children and wants to protect them from adults. Falsely accused of molesting a child, he must serve as a soldier in World War II, but is soon captured by the enemy. He is used by the Germans as a training leader for a Nazi camp in Kaltenborg Castle. Tiffauges is happy about this, because he can take care of the German children, but has to live with the fact that he helps the enemy in their fight.
