Die Wanderhure plot
Constance in the year 1414. The beautiful Marie Schärer leads a carefree and carefree life until the day her father wants her to marry the son of the Count von Keilburg against her will. But Marie's great love is her childhood friend Michel Adler, who because of his low social status does not live up to her father's expectations. Blinded by the thought of a possible rise to the nobility, the father agrees to Count Heinrich von Keilburg's proposal that Marie marry Ruppertus. But when Ruppertus senses Marie's uncooperative attitude, he is deeply mortified and plans a conspiracy: he has Marie brutally raped and accuses her of fornication, so that, innocently convicted and tortured, she is banished from the city half dead. The itinerant prostitute Hiltrud finds Marie badly injured and takes care of her. But help comes at a heavy price. In order to survive, Marie must sell her body...
