Aurore plot

When Aurore Gagnon's mother suffers from tuberculosis, her father's niece by marriage, Marie-Anne, comes to help them in their house. Marie-Anne is after her father Télésphore and tries to seduce him. Aurore is a beautiful girl who looks a lot like her mother. According to Marie-Anne she is a child of the devil. When Aurore's mother dies, Télésphore immediately marries Marie-Anne. And then hell begins for Aurore. She's being abused by her stepmother, and not just a little bit...
