Seventy-year-old married Axun runs into Maite, her best friend from her teenage years in the hospital. At first they don't even recognize each other. But soon it turns out that the friendship they cherished then still exists, but then Axun finds out that Maite is a lesbian. Axun's old, apparently repressed feelings resurface and present her with a dilemma: will she obey her heart or her mind?
