Gambler Ross Hadley owns a swanky gambling palace in the heart of New York. Hadley's main opponent is his childhood friend Mike McGlennon. McGlennon, now a police lieutenant, is determined to end Hadley's gambling business. Things get complicated for Hadley and McGlennnon when it turns out that they are both in love with the attractive Mary Hayes. Mary turns out to be performing in nightclubs under the stage name 'Vi Parker'.
