A 13 in a dozen action film that provides reasonable entertainment. Luke Goss as a gang member is fun to watch.

Reasonable.

Nice revenge film, with a perfect atmosphere. Once Michael infiltrates the gang, the film gets going and there are some nice action scenes. Luke Goss does a good job as Michael, which I cannot say for Val Kilmer as Arturo. It seems as if Kilmer has forgotten how to act: in Blood Out he really came across as some B-actor.

Watched it today on Blu-ray, I enjoyed it and it was quite entertaining, but it does veer a bit towards crime.

We have seen the story before that the main character (this time Luke Goss) wants to take revenge on the gang that killed his brother, he goes undercover in the gang and joins it, we see a lot of fights and some shootings, all quite hard and coarse, but doesn't really excel anywhere, otherwise a lot of drugs, gangs and women and Luke Goss who lights up one cigarette after the other.

Towards the end there was a kind of fight and then another chase and it was over quite quickly, no further elaboration and I thought it was a bit run-down at the end.

50Cent was on screen for 5 minutes, Val Kilmer also only a supporting role, the only thing that really surprised me was in the beginning when one cop (Sheriff Luke Goss) is beaten up by another cop just because he murdered his brother. wanted to have investigated, very strange scene!

Certainly not a great film, but a mediocre action film.
