Kim and George McLaren are on their way to a friend's cottage for a winter vacation with their eight-year-old son Miles. There, little Miles meets a mysterious Indian who tells him about the Wendigo ghost that haunts the area. Miles is so impressed by this story that he thinks he sees the Wendigo.
