I should have skipped this movie at the time (after seeing the trailer), even though I like (good) SF. Now I have seen this movie at home and skipping it turns out to have been a good action. The story is flat as a dime, and quite predictable. It was a bit like a bad TV movie, but in the SF genre.

It's a nice mind-boggling SF movie for those who like lots of explosions without too much story, but I don't fall under that (anymore). 1.5* from me.

Still a very good sci-fi invasion movie.

The aliens steal the show, and I think they look really well made and convincing.

If those guys land in real life, humanity will be over.

I find the story quite innovative and it quickly becomes exciting.

If you like alien invasion movies, I can definitely recommend this one

Everyone's taste. It's a wafer-thin story of an Alien attack that eats humans. Blue cones with light provide your attention and weightlessness and you are trapped. No rescue scientists or arguing government. Only contact between friends and a caretaker. The Alien spaceship resembles the one from Independence day and the satellites on the sentinals from the Matrix 3. There is a scene of a nuclear missile hitting that ship but in the end it didn't really help. Humanity is lost. Can I say that this movie is an incredibly crappy SF movie? 1 point for the effort.
