"It's a Hard Knock-Off Life"
Lucky and Levon live in the part of New York where the wholesaler of the fashion world is located. Lucky, an illegal immigrant from Ghana, makes a living selling fake branded stuff. Levon, an illegal Armenian-Libyan immigrant, has a shop where the interested buyer can also buy such items in a back room. Lucky's world is turned upside down when a woman splits him in the stomach with a child she believes is his. Meanwhile, Levon struggles with a marriage that threatens to fail.

A decent film about a con man whose ex-girlfriend saddles him with a baby. No frills, raw cinematography, and natural acting. This early Sean Baker film resembles a Dardenne film. A bit long-winded, though.
