Ne Me Libérez Pas, Je M'en Charge plot

Michel Vaujour, former thief and mobster, has always chosen to try to escape from prison. He preferred adventure to a life of submission. He has spent 27 years in prison, 17 of which in solitary confinement. He managed to escape five times before being paroled in 2003. He used toy guns, worthy of a Hollywood script, and once managed to escape the prison roof via helicopter. This documentary is an uplifting and universal story of a remarkable transformation. Michel Vaujour's greatest escape was not from prison, but from himself. The liberation of the mind and ultimately the soul. His isolation constantly forced him to confront himself.
