Verre Vrienden plot

Three women share the same house and meet each other every day, yet they live past each other. While Ans is surprised by her daughter who suddenly appears on the doorstep, the German Lise tries to find her way in a new country, and Machteld jeopardizes her relationship by photographing men sleeping in her bed. Their lives appear to have little in common, yet they share more than they think. A poetic mosaic tale about the inability to make contact and the slumbering loneliness in the big city.
