Unrequited plot

This is the story of Ben Jacobs, a troubled young man who is forced to leave the home for troubled teens on his 18th birthday. He has spent the past few months in that institution, but now he is moving back in with his alcoholic mother. Ben discovers that his old friend Jessica Morgan has moved on and is dating an older college student. Ben has a hard time digesting the breakup with Jessica and in an attempt to win her love back, he kidnaps her. His troubled past catches up with him and Ben ultimately has to make the choice whether to let her go or not, even if it means the end for both of them.
