Young Fugitives plot

Because Joel Bentham is the last survivor in his part of the country from the Civil War, he will be awarded $50,000. The villagers from his village also want to take advantage of this, but since they never cared about him, he decides to spend it himself. Ray Riggings, the grandson of an ex-colleague soldier, he wants to make heir. Ray plans to rob Joel with some ex-criminal friends, but reneges. Only he may be too late to turn everything back.
