DIRT! The Movie is an amazing, funny and substantial look at the glorious and underappreciated ground beneath our feet. Dirt feeds us and shelters us. Dirt owns and purifies our water. Dirt heals us and makes us beautiful. Dirt controls the earth and climate. Why do we humans ignore, abuse, and destroy our most precious natural resources? Consider the results of such behavior: mass famine, drought, flooding and global warming. The film tells the story of man trying to reconnect with the dirt in the earth's skin. It shows how restoring our relationship with dirt can open up new possibilities for all life on Earth.
