I Met a Murderer plot
English farmer Mark Warrow leads an unhappy marriage to his cranky wife Martha. Mark's only happiness comes from his dog. One day, when Martha loses her temper and kills his beloved pet, Mark is blown away and he kills Martha. On the run, Mark encounters a young woman, Jo Trent, who lives in a caravan. Mark is allowed to travel with Jo. Jo recognizes Mark as his wife's wanted murderer and she wants to write a book about Mark called 'I Met a Murderer'. Jo falls in love with Mark just as it looks like she and Mark are being surrounded by the police.
