"When murder is your business, you'd better not fall in love with your work."
Anne Benton witnesses a mafia settlement and calls the police. At the police station, she realizes that the mafia is infiltrating the force, and she flees. Chased by the police, who want her explanation, and a hit man hired by the mafia, she ends up in Mexico. Finally, she encounters the hit man, who has now immersed himself in his victim to prepare for the murder. But he's started to feel more and more for her...
