"Time is Running Out for the Running Man...And His Woman!"
A death ceremony is held for the Briton Rex Black, owner of a small airline that transports goods. Rex is said to have drowned when he crashed with a 'glider'. It soon becomes apparent that Rex faked his death. In this way he hopes to collect insurance money, which will be paid out to his wife Stella. Meanwhile, Rex is waiting in Malaga, Spain, for Stella, where he pretends to be the shoe salesman Charles Erskine. In a bar, Rex meets drunken Australian millionaire Jim Jerome. When Jerome forgets his passport in the bar, Rex appropriates his passport and thinks he can carry out another plan to deceive the insurance companies. Meanwhile, insurance agent Stephen Maddox pays Stella the claim. Stella then leaves for Spain to meet Rex, but then Maddox suddenly shows up in Malaga.
