A small town wiped out on September 9, 2009 is surrounded by a mystery. Now, 60 years later, Sarah, the last survivor, sends a letter to reporter Mary explaining what really happened that day. The government calls 9/9/09 the beginning of a modern plague. Mary soon realizes that her search for the truth is harder to uncover than the lies.
