A film that is quite entertaining. The tension builds up gradually and the film contains more than enough action.

However, there are also negatives. The biggest drawback is the ridiculous special effects. Personally, I was irritated by the English accent of the "Germans" in the film. It seemed more English with a Russian accent.

For those who don't mind all that, this is a nice video.

I thought it was worthwhile to see this film, since I am busy (re)watching all his films. I admit that it is not his best film, but it held my attention because of the cohesiveness and the action moments.

It was also nice that the then 15 year old Kristopher, his real son, had a role in this film (his son). At that age he already mastered the karate moves that his father made infamous in his first films.

The scene on the train was terribly fake, almost unwatchable, and often toy trains were used to make us believe that we were seeing a real train.

The scene on the bridge looked very good. Also somewhere in the middle of the film the image was divided into 2 and you saw 2 different action scenes at the same time, that was an original and cool idea.

On to the next Van Damme film!

Watched today, entertaining action film with Van Damme, it has become a kind of ''Under Siege 2'' with terrorists on a train and coincidentally Van Damme and his family are also on that train.

The film is not boring and I didn't discover any boring parts, but it does feel very 90s in terms of action.

There were plenty of good action scenes and the ending was also explosive.

I did miss a real villain, these actors looked quite cheap and were not really smart.

However, this film is not very well known if you talk about Van Damme films, then the classics such as Double impact, Hard target and Universal soldier are discussed.

All in all an entertaining movie!
