"A man who wouldn't stay licked... A horse that couldn't be tamed!"
Dave Jordan and Chito Jose Gonzalez Bustamante Rafferty work for Melburn who captures and sells wild horses. Olmstead is his competitor. Dave manages to find a herd of wild horses and then Olmstead buys up Melburn's herd, only to kill Melburn. Dave finds a clue to the killer, breaks into Olmstead and finds the gun that killed Melburn. When he takes the evidence to the marshal, he learns from the marshal that Olmstead has since been murdered and that Dave is considered a suspect.
