Ôkami Shôjo plot
Like all the other boys in the class, shy misfit Akira is immediately head over heels in love when city girl Rumiko starts at the village school with them. Her popularity is in stark contrast to that of Hideko, who is always bullied and called "Wolf Girl" after a carnival show arrives in town where her classmates think she belongs. To everyone's surprise and dismay, Rumiko chooses to befriend Akira and Hideko.
