The Last Confession of Alexander Pearce plot
"Hunger Has No Limit"
In 1819, eight men escape from one of the most horrific prisons in the world, Sarah Islands. Only one man survives the escape. His story can be seen in The Last Confession of Alexander Pearce. During their flight, the refugees weakened very quickly because they were already given very little to eat in the camp. Therefore, they decide that one of them must sacrifice himself so that the others can eat him in order to survive. After 50 days, only Alexander Pearce is still alive. When he is found, he is sentenced to hang for murder and cannibalism. His testimony shocked all of England.
