Intense, tough and confrontational.

There is not much more to say about 5 Days Of War.

The viewer gets a clear picture of how the war between Russia and Georgia is progressing.

The fact that this war receives less media attention does not make the film any worse.

While watching it, I quickly noticed that not everything is based on facts.

The war itself is anything but fiction.

The misery that no one wants to experience.

I liked Andy Garcia as President Mikheil Saakashvili.

War films in particular continue to leave a deep impact on me.

3.5 *

Hmmm, I don't quite understand the low averages (especially on IMDB). Still a quality product. Very violent and especially the attacks are very skillfully executed.

Unfortunately, there always has to be a (is that again) superfluous love story, but because it still had some relevance with the further course of the film I could still manage this. Just the phrase "you came back for me!" shot me the wrong way. Also a somewhat gimmicky barbarian of a mercenary, but otherwise everything is fine.

The opening scene in particular was intense, it immediately flew to my throat.

4*

As an ode to the 500 reporters who gave their lives to bring news to the world, this print is already more than valuable.

Whether this is true or not. Every day we are showered with half-truths and lies from world news to local news. It's just what you want to swallow and believe.

Propaganda plays no role here at all. War is always bad. Point! Even though I like such action pictures. The conclusion with testimonies from the victims' families clearly accentuates the terrible nature of such an event.

This picture. Whether it is Russia or Georgia, you can clearly see how insanely waging war and ignorant rule, with a glass of wine in hand, is. Whichever way you look at it.

The main focus is on the reporter who is dependent on the side he meets and must defeat in order to survive. Even the female reporter(s) give color to this film.

Very good interpretation and representation from the civilian population, the good military, the leadership and the response from the world. Meetings and meetings again, but in the meantime dozens of people are killed.

A must for those who are against war and for information.

Beautiful.

Since there are clear messages in this print, a score of 4.0 * should not be out of place.
