Zanan-e Bedun-e Mardan plot
Against the tumultuous backdrop of the CIA-orchestrated coup in Iran, the destinies of 4 women converge in a beautiful orchid garden, where they find independence, solace and friendship. Munis is almost 30 and obsessed with the political crisis in her country. She is terrorized by her fundamentalist brother who wants to marry her off. After her suicide attempt, she is buried, but miraculously resurrected. Fakhri, a wealthy middle-aged woman, is tired of being the wife of a cocky general. She leaves him and moves to a secluded mansion outside the city, surrounded by a magical forest. Zarin, a young prostitute, flees, first to purify herself in a public bath, then in Fakhri's garden. Faezeh finally hopes to marry the brother of her good friend Munis.
