What would you do if, after 70 years, you found out that all the valuables buried in 1939 by your Jewish family in their garden in Lodz, Poland, could still be there? Then you go looking. A modern fairy tale and an emotional journey with unexpected entanglements in contemporary Poland. Grandson Mark Atkin embarks on an adventurous quest for a hidden treasure buried by his grandfather in 1939 in Lodz, Poland. Part of the key is in Los Angeles with distant relatives. The other part, the site of the supposed treasure, is under Polish military rule. The main character tells about his fascinating family history, illustrated by animations, but above all shows all the attempts and obstacles in contemporary Poland that the main character encounters during his adventure to track down the hidden treasure.
