Kamiya Etsuko no Seishun plot
Japan, 1945. At the end of the war. The young Kamiya Etsuko lives with her brother and his wife in the small town of Kagoshima. Their parents were killed in an air raid. Etsuko's brother wants to match her up with an Air Force officer named Nagayo. But while she admires Nagayo, she falls in love with another man, Akashi. But everything changes when Akashi volunteers to join a kamikaze mission.
