Considering the average and the many rather negative messages, I didn't expect much from this horror movie, but that turned out to be not too bad. This film did contain some very cool scenes such as the meeting of the two ladies Nancy and Sarah with the statue in the fog, which clearly had to represent the devil. I immediately thought of the devil figurine from The Exorcist (1973). All very creepy and for me also the highlight of this very gloomy-looking film. By the way, that meeting would have nasty consequences for the ladies where we later saw how Sarah was sacrificed and it also ended badly for Nancy. At first I thought it would turn out to be a happy ending for both ladies, just like Samantha in the movie The House of the Devil (2009) who was also in danger of being sacrificed but still came out alive which was also the weak point in that film. So here luckily no happy ending. A good ending in my opinion, although again the highlight of this very enjoyable film lay in the terrifying scenes in the mysterious fog in the forest.

3.5*

Apparently hadn't seen this one yet, was still doubting at first, but throughout the film it became clear that it was the first viewing. A 5.5/10 on IMDb and 2.70/5 here on MM on a reasonable number of votes, then it usually means something. Film looks a bit cheap, but before the rest this is quite a cava horror film with subjects such as exorcism and sacrifices and a pretty nice atmosphere. Can agree with the review of wibro.

I thought it was a good film. It's just a pity that so much Polish was spoken in it. I don't understand anything (only 'tak') and there were no Dutch subtitles, but the concept became clear at the end.
