Einayim Petukhoth plot
Aaron is a respected butcher in Jerusalem's ultra-Orthodox Jewish community. He is married to Rivka and together they have 4 children. After his father's death, Aaron looks for someone to help him in the case. Coincidentally, he meets Ezri, a handsome student. He engages him, teaches him to slaughter and gives him shelter in the shop. He invites Ezri to his home and takes him into the community. When they go together to a secluded Mikve – a sacred ritual bath – they experience an intimate moment together. From then on, Aaron will no longer rest. He spends more and more time with Ezri, neglecting his family and community, and getting completely sucked into a vortex of love and desire. But guilt, torment and immense pressure from Rivka and the community will eventually compel him to commit an irreversible act…
