Królik po Berlinsku plot
A huge rabbit population developed in the no man's land of the Berlin Wall. People who entered this 75-mile stretch of land, which separated East and West Berlin for nearly thirty years, met their deaths. Rabbits, on the other hand, initially live in a paradise after the wall is erected. The wall enclosed the green area at Potsdammer Platz and there was plenty to eat, no natural enemies and enough space for everyone. Only the reproduction rate of the rabbits caused problems. When the wall falls in 1989, the rabbits suddenly have to find a new place in the big unknown city and it's not easy. Archive footage and aerial photographs of the Berlin Wall, in which rabbits feature prominently, alternate with interviews with former soldiers, a rabbit specialist and other eyewitnesses, ending with images of rabbits completely lost in city traffic.
