Fantasma plot
The last part of Alonso's triptych that started with La Libertad and Los Muertos. Argentino Vargas, the protagonist of Los Muertos, is invited to attend a special screening of the film, traveling from his small village to Buenos Aires. When he arrives, however, only two other visitors have shown up: Misael Saavedra, the protagonist of Alonso's first film La Libertad, and an unknown woman. Vargas begins to explore the gigantic theater as images of himself and his prank pass by on the big screen.
