Sekai de Ichiban Utsukushii Yoru plot

The streets of the village of Kaname are filled with children and distinguish themselves from the rest of Japan where birth rates are alarmingly low. The village is in a festive mood because of their upcoming visit to the Prime Minister in Tokyo. A 14-year-old girl knows the secret behind high fertility. Her story traces back to 14 years earlier, when a journalist on the run from a scandal was forced to take a job in the remote and then drab village. Through his eyes we get to know the strange inhabitants.
