The Ice Runner plot

Jeffrey West is a CIA agent working in Moscow. He is being framed by people he assumed he could trust. He is arrested by the Russian Security Service and put on a train to Siberia, where he would end up in a heavily guarded penal camp. Due to circumstances, however, he ends up in a less heavily guarded institution. When the camp commander finds out that he has an American spy in his camp, he wants to personally eliminate Jeffrey.

Not a particularly exciting film... It took me a while to grasp the thriller aspect of this film. What I do find funny is that Victor Wong is in it; it reminds me of the 1986 film Big Trouble in Little China. I had this DVD before, but it kept stuttering, even in the same place, even when I bought the same film again. Then, by sheer luck, I found a different DVD cover at a record store (same film), which I've now watched, and it doesn't stutter. The film never really gets exciting or gripping, but it is reasonably enjoyable. Two and a half stars for this mediocre adventure thriller.
